Housing

HACC assists low and moderate-income households of Champaign County through a variety of housing and supportive service programs.

Housing Programs include affordable communities owned by HACC affiliates and managed by HACC and mixed-income communities sponsored by HACC.

Housing communities include apartments, townhomes and single-family homes for families and the general population; age-restricted housing for individuals age 55 and older; supportive housing for individuals with special needs; and emergency shelter for homeless families with children.

The Housing Choice Voucher Program provides both Project-Based Vouchers which provide rental assistance to a specific property and Tenant-Based Vouchers which allow families to select housing of their choice throughout Champaign County.
